Music lessons for Wahroonga families
Private music lessons and group classes for Wahroonga children, teens and adults, a short drive down the Pacific Highway at our two Turramurra studios. ISM has taught music in Turramurra since 1992.
From Wahroonga to our studios
Our two studios are about 2 km south of Wahroonga on the Pacific Highway in Turramurra, a short drive after school or on a weekend morning. If you'd rather leave the car at home, take the North Shore line from Wahroonga through Warrawee to Turramurra station, two stops down. Studio 2 is on the corner of Rohini Street, near the station.

Many of our families come from Wahroonga. We're open seven days during school terms, so a lesson can sit around school, sport and the rest of the week. We'll confirm which studio your lesson is at when you book.
What Wahroonga students learn
Every lesson follows one simple idea: what you hear, you sing; what you sing, you play; what you play, you read; what you read, you write. Students learn to listen and to read music, not just copy where the fingers go.
Private lessons
One on one lessons in piano, guitar, singing, violin, drums, bass guitar, clarinet, saxophone, cello and more. Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes a week, with no minimum age.

Five courses for children, from Beeboppers at 3 to the Extension Course from 9. Each course has its own ISM books and worksheets and leads into the next.

Exams are optional. For students who want a goal, teachers prepare them from Preliminary to Grade 8 and tell you when a grade is within reach.
