When you’re choosing a music school, the place your child learns in matters as much as the teaching. ISM Turramurra has taught music on the Upper North Shore since 1992. Here’s a look at where our lessons happen.

Where we are

We have two studios on the Pacific Highway in Turramurra:

• Head office: Level 1, 1319 to 1321 Pacific Highway, Turramurra NSW 2074
• Studio 2: Level 1, 1273 Pacific Highway, Turramurra NSW 2074 (corner of Rohini Street)

Our teaching rooms

Our teaching rooms are set up for music lessons:

• Good quality instruments
• Rooms suited to both private lessons and group classes
• Comfortable, well lit spaces

Private teaching studios

• Set up for one on one lessons

Group room

• Set up for our group courses, from Beeboppers to the Extension Course
• A digital piano for each student in the Junior Course

How we teach

What sets us apart isn’t just our rooms, it’s how we teach. Our approach follows a simple principle: what you hear, you sing; what you sing, you play; what you play, you read; what you read, you write.

We offer:

• Group classes for children from 3 years old
• Private lessons in piano, guitar, singing, violin, drums, bass guitar, woodwind (clarinet and saxophone), cello, double bass, trombone, composition, music theory and songwriting, with no minimum age
• Lessons 7 days a week during the public school terms
• Qualified, experienced teachers

Safety and comfort

Parents often ask how we keep students safe. Students are only in our teaching rooms when a teacher is present.
